Holy cow are we tired. After a weekend of total insanity, we're finally more or less settled in our new place and have started slowly unpacking our stuff and getting used to the cold dry air. So much cool has happened in the last few days that I think I'll break the various events up into several posts just so saying it all doesn't get too cumbersome.
Let's start with Saturday. First and foremost, we had Matt's baby blessing first thing in the morning. It was a nice cozy event in our living room - the only room that wasn't chuck full of boxes. All in all it was a pretty nice little event: Matt slept through most of it (so no crying during) and it was great to have family and friends there.
Then everybody changed and went straight to loading the truck. We had so much help from family/friends that we filled up all 16' in just a little over 1.5 hours and had all of the afternoon to relax for the most part (minus a little cleaning mixed in there).
Finally, in the evening most of us went down for one final trip downtown, mainly to the WWII Memorial (where we used the new soldier registry computer system) and then just for a little night walk up and down the Reflecting Pool.
Anyway, here's where you can find the whole thing in pictures. I'll post the Sunday stories (which includes the United 93 crash site) shortly.
