We'll admit that we loved the Great Lakes Science Center we visited when we were in Cleveland last week. They had Jacob's ladders, musical pipes, tornadoes you could stand in, and magnetic trains (guess who loved that). But the favorites included:
- The Space Shuttle flight simulator. Enough said.
- Natasha was also much pleased to find an exhibit exhaustively delineating the history of one of her great passions -- CHOCOLATE!
- The gift shop, where Jon organized all of their planes into squadrons. Hopefully that will help them sell cheap plastic toys for way too much.
- The undeniable star of the show was the OmniMax theater (or IMAX Dome), with the screen wrapping around you a little bit so you actually have to turn your head to watch things go by. Given our family history, it's no great surprise that we jumped to see Fighter Pilot.

Alright! Bootlegged copy of "Fighter Pilot!!!" I've been waiting for it for months.
Seriously, though, another extremely thoughtful and insightful movie/picture compilation!
Well, thank ya'll. Nice to know someone actually notices :)
WOW what a great museum! Any museum that has chocolate as an "exhibit" is my kind of museum! I hope they gave free samples. I love Imax movies. Too bad you didn't get a chance to see U2-3D there- that would have changed your life. It is a crazy movie. But the flying one is perfect for you and your "future pilot" I love him organizing the planes. Josh used to do that in the airport gift shops and yes, we did have to buy a stupid 8 dollar piece of crap one time...uhg!
