We've now reached the stage where we're surrounding ourselves with all sorts of over-priced merchandise/paraphernalia from our children's obsessions. The first such obsession to overtake Jonathan in full force is Lightning McQueen and the Radiator Springs gang from Disney/Pixar's Cars. We're just starting the build-up and we've already got Cars race tracks, toy cars, tons of books, stickers, bedding, and posters. Today's latest addition ... these pajamas (courtesy of a generous donation from his grandparents). So now if he wakes up in the middle of the night, all he has to do is look at his own chest to find McQueen and Mater.
The funny thing is that getting into your kids' obsessions is actually even more fun than having your own stupid ones.
PA is going to take a little getting used to after DC, but that's just fine. For now, we'll just enjoy the novelty of seeing Amish families shopping at the mall. No, that's not a joke.
We live close to beautiful (at least what we've seen of it) Lake Erie and we decided to go down and catch a nice pretty sunset from Presque Isle. Enjoy still shots here and here, and little video below:

Trust me you will NEVER have as many cars as Josh has- it is mind-boggling. Too many. I can't believe we have acquired so many in only 4 years. Josh loves “Cars” cars too.
Funny..."presque" is one of my favorite French words. It means "almost or nearly." So, it's quite fitting for the title of your video: Almost Sunset. Looks pretty!
